About Me

Terri Louise Alexander, MS, CRC (CRC in training)

I am a Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor with over 45 years of experience supporting individuals and families facing disability and mental health challenges. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation and Human Services from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a CACREP-accredited program. I am currently completing my PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, as well as pursuing my Doctorate in the College of Education at Penn State University.

My career has been dedicated to helping people build strength, independence, and connection in their lives. In Kuwait, I provided private counseling services as an interventionist, therapist, and case manager, specializing in helping individuals and families manage severe mental health concerns. I also consult at Dr. Rossol Bourisli Clinic, counseling adolescents and university students by integrating academic, social, and family support within Kuwait’s cultural values.

In addition, I work closely with the Kuwait Autism Center, offering counseling, skills training, and lectures for families with children and young adults on the autism spectrum. I am passionate about equipping families with the tools they need to support their loved ones and strengthen the family unit.

I am a proud member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association (NRCA), and the American Rehabilitation Counseling Association (ARCA). My approach is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a belief in every individual’s ability to thrive with the right support.
